The former living room of ELVERHØJ is now a Solvang Gallery, relating the story of   the founding and early growth of the Danish American colony.  Many items from the Museum's permanent collection are also on display in this interesting room. Photos

The ELVERHØJ Museum contains a spacious Art Gallery with rotating exhibits of regional art and international Danish arts and crafts.  The museum is also a showcase for many of Denmark's traditional folk arts including weaving, needlework, lace making, wood carving and paper cutting. 

September 8 - October 17

  • "Tierra del Oro" "Earth and Fire"

Contemporary paintings and ceramics by Carolyn Lander and Lindy Kern.   An exciting collaboration.

September 18 and 19

  • Living History Festival

    A part of Solvang's annual Danish Days celebration.

    October 20 - November 28

  • "A Story in Color"

    The annual Gene Inglis-Ward Studio painters, local and regional artists, display.
