How would you have liked to travel from Michigan to California in one of these? Notice the water bag hanging on the radiator. I remember coming to California from Michigan and we traveled over the desert in the night as we didn't have air-conditioning in the car. I didn't even know anyone who had air-conditioning in their car. Then it was a rolled down window. AC wasn't within the reach of the average motorist along with we didn't know that we needed the wonderful convenience. Did you notice the lack of rubber tires on this car? It is great Fun to see these "Grapes of Wrath" cars.
