|
Gail Watson Phillips Email: fastdrvr@verizon.net I have been driving and setting Landspeed records for over ten years, both in the U.S. and Australia. I was the seventh woman inducted into the prestigious Bonneville 200 MPH Club (1999) and the first female to be inducted into the Dry Lakes Racers Australia 200 MPH Club (2001). I currently hold six World Records: five in the E (engine size) Modified sports class (gas and fuel), driving a highly modified 1959 Austin Healey Sprite, and one in the E/Grand Touring class driving a /C-5 Corvette. My race team is presently preparing another new Landspeed vehicle to race in the U.S. and Australia, to attempt new records and speeds from 250 to over 300 MPH.
