*Bill Keifer passed away June 18th.  Memorial service for Keifer was held June 27th, in Orange at the Waverly Chapel. (OC Register)

 

*Bill Sterett Jr dies in boating accident (from the OC Register): The champion driver died June 26, after an accident on the Ohio River.  Sterett, age 57, was driving a hydroplane when it hit rough water, the nose diving, and the boat breaking up. 

  He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, from blunt force trauma due to the accident.
