These photos all were taken at 8:00 PM.  I had not known of this little place of interest.

My mother was visiting from FL and asked to see the Ocean so we drove from Solvang area (Buellton) straight on 246 through Lompoc on Ocean to the Surf Beach and found this little gem - wonderful beach - come spend some time here and enjoy the quiet of the Ocean waves. 

We also found this sign so we know you can find a bus to nearby Lompoc and then into the Buellton area.  I'm sure the phone number for the Amtrak people listed on the photo below will be able to help you.  When I find more information I will try and pass it on to you.

You walk across the 2 tracks to go to the beach.  Neat!
