Jack's Car on Tour (Pea Soup Sponsored)

When we last sent our the newsletter we had finished
the 4th of July weekend and were looking ahead at a Wedensday Night on
Victorian Square in Sparks and the Cannibal Cruise in Truckee. The Sparks
show yealded 300 cars, the Chevy International Tour, a live group BACK in
TIME, and vending folk. Lots of on lookers and a young man who graduated from
Santa Ynez High School in 1972 and now lives here...
The Cannibal Cruise ( which takes its name from cannibalizing another car to
make yours.) was a lot of fun, again we met some folks from Santa Maria. We
were featured in CRUISE CONTROL a local car magazine in the Reno area, with
photos and a big part of our story THRU the TIME WARP.
Next week-end we are on our way to an Albertson's market (do they call them
that or is that like ice box, dates me) in Carson City on the 25th.
Albertsons is always a lot of fun this will be the 3rd show we have done with
them they always have food give aways and since they do not have ANDERSENs
pea soup we pony up a case or two. We got our shipment of soup from Real
Fresh and want to thank John Guay for the support and Linda Stephens for
getting it to us, THANKS AGAIN!!!! Since we are in the thanks mode, Ken Beck
took some photos at the Truck show in Reno.
Still a couple of weeks til Hot August Nights, and the Wedensday night
cruises, a show at Sierra West Bank (if they aren't someone else by then),
and The Silver Dollar Show in Carson City. After that if we make it August
14th a Grand Auto show in Sparks or the Prophets show at the Hilton Reno. The
21st & 22nd is theValley Cruiser show in Gardnervill Nv., and the "BEAT GOES
ON".
Again you are more than welcome to join us at any of these we have shade and
even sprung for two more chairs, so come on.
